The Distribution Manager is a complete solution for converting electronic documents into the secure, compressed format required for delivery to a SoftBook Reader. The system includes all the necessary tools to process documents and deliver with an easy to use interface.
Publishing Made Easy
Any document can be quickly made into a SoftBook Reader Edition and distributed to the appropriate group. The approach is simple. Once the original documents have been created with the Personal Publisher complete with scanned images etc, Distribution Manager will pickup one or a number of documents and automatically create a TOC (table of contents) and the Document Officer can then view how it will look on a Reader then deliver it to the appropriate group or staff member.

Publishing with SoftBook Express Manager:
eBook Express Manager provides timely and secure delivery of electronic documents for the SoftBook/ REB1200 Reader though an easy-to-use, web-based application. With eBook Express Manager, an administrator can "push" documents directly to a single user or to groups of users.
eBook Express Manager provides:
- Secure delivery of documents directly to the Online BookShelf of one or more users, with confirmation of delivery to each Online Bookshelf and confirmation of retrieval by each user.
- The ability to define groups of users for repeated deliveries.
- "Undelivery" of a document, removing it from a user's Online Bookshelf and SoftBook/ REB1200 Reader.
- Updates of documents, including automatic delivery of the new version of a document to all users who received the previous version.
- tools for adding, searching, organising and maintaining users, documents, deliveries, and administrators.
- Generation and sorting of reports that include information on the documents that have been delivered, the users they have been delivered to, and the users who have already retrieved those documents from the Online Bookshelf.
